Portfolio: 1976-Present

Relocating from the Bay Area to Southern California, a second (1976-1977) and subsequent third marriage (1981-2000), a family and the day-to-day financial requirements led me to subjugate, but not discontinue my art to the need for a steady and reliable income. For much of this period, I continued my art by producing thousands of sketches and drawings and small works on illustration board in acrylic, colored pencils, pencils and markers. These media and surfaces allowed me to continue to produce large bodies of work given the constraints of a fully domesticated and business life.

Starting in April 2009, after converting two rooms in my house for exclusive studio use, I once again realized the tremendous joy of applying paint to canvas.
